Some like the team-based non-linear exploration, some like to kill waves of enemies with friends, some like to test different builds and play around with different guns. Originally posted by Cautemoc:See the nice thing about DRG is it appeals to a lot of different playstyles. Nothing is really forcing you to play them except I guess a desire to get things faster. I'm sure you can handle doing it twice in a week. If you don't like some particular part of the game, don't play that part unless it's in a weekly assignment. Some mission types focus more on tactical gameplay, some focus more on exploration, some focus more on killing things. Most people like a little bit of all of those things, which is what DRG actually is, not your cherry-picked version that you particularly like about it. See the nice thing about DRG is it appeals to a lot of different playstyles. Granted i dont think its beyond redemption femboy had some decent suggestions for how to make it a bit more lively Originally posted by Cautemoc:Damn, complain some more.Įscort completely goes against the formula that all other gamemodes work on and violates the non-linear team-based exploration that makes the game so fun and intuitive If it's taking you longer than 15 mins to do it, you're doing it wrong, and if you can't handle 15 mins you are dwarfing wrong. There are multiple strats that make the things you are complaining about just a matter of some very basic teamwork. Escort duty can be done very quickly if you aren't playing like a greenbeard among the greenest of beardlings. Still not as bad as industrial espionage thoĭamn, complain some more. Yyaayyyy we saved doreeta's head again :DDdd this is so heckin wholesome!! :DDDDD Yes i love doing the exact same wave defence every single god forsaken time i am subjected to this gamemode Yes i love lumbering around a heavy object and always being barely out of reach of oil and/or being 99% full with no oil in sight Yes i love mindlessly shooting at enemies walking at me in a tight choke Yes i love completely missing the point of what makes DRG's level design special An optional add on is the Overclock Jump Shells.Originally posted by kestrel:yes i love escorting a helpless mission critical object that will fail the mission if i'm not glued to it 24/7 Get the White Phosphorous Shells that turn 50% of your damage into fire damage. Next, we will spend some points getting the Tungsten Coated Backshot to deal more damage to armor. Use the Expanded Ammo Bag with this build since we will be emptying our shotgun pretty quickly using the Double Trigger. Also, use the Double Trigger for an increased fire rate that does additional damage. Since we are using a shotgun, get the Double-Sized Buckshot for additional damage. This Deep Rock Galactic Build is centered around the Jury-Rigged Boomstick Shotgun. To complete our M1000 Classic build for Deep Rock Galactic we will get the Overclock: Active Stability System as it allows for normal movement speed during focus shots but it will lower the focus shot damage which is a sacrifice worth making. Getting the Hitting Where it Hurts will allow you to stagger the enemy with focus shots. We will be using the Increased Caliber Rounds for extra damage and Fast-Charging Recoils for faster Focus.įor extra Focus damage bonus get the Killer Focus and just as with the DeepCore GK2 build, use the Hollow Point Bullets. This is a sniper build so our weapon modifiers will complement the fact. As the name suggests this one is centered around the M1000 Classic Semi-Auto Rifle. Next on the list of best Deep Rock Galactic builds is the M1000 Classic build. To top off your Deepcore GK2 build for Deep Rock Galactic, get the Overclock: Gas rerouting for a clean overclock that boosts the rate of fire and speeds up reloads. Speedy movement is an important element to have so Battle Frenzy is a no-brainer as it gives you a speed boost after getting a kill. Speaking of damage, having a weak spot damage bonus would help us a lot so get the Hollow Point Bullets to go with your Deepcore GK2 build. For increased damage, we suggest you get the Improved Propellant. Also, get the Expanded Ammo Bags to carry additional ammo. Use the Super Charged Feed Mechanism for increased fire rate to get out of tough situations or pin down the enemy when required.
